Waste Heat Recovery Unit (Direct-Heat Type)
Product Introduction
Product Features
Direct‑heat heat exchange: cold water enters and hot water exits, with an outlet temperature of 50–80°C. Based on thermal balance calculations, the heat exchanger’s size and surface area are determined to ensure rapid heating of cold water within 20 seconds, delivering hot water at 50–80°C directly.
Constant‑temperature hot water: Utilizing a thermostatic control system and PLC touch‑screen technology, the unit ensures direct delivery of hot water with a stable outlet temperature maintained within ±2°C.
Maintaining Compressor Oil Temperature: Utilizing PLC‑based automatic control with a 7‑inch touch screen, the system ensures the air compressor operates within its optimal temperature range of 75–85°C. The heat generated by the compressor is matched to the heat exchanger of the waste‑heat recovery unit, enabling stable operating temperatures. After passing through the waste‑heat recovery unit, the compressor’s oil returns to its original cooler for further cooling, preventing overheating. When the compressor’s operating temperature drops below the set point of 65°C—such as during shutdown or unloading—the inlet water supply is automatically shut off, ensuring no heat exchange occurs between the hot oil and water and preventing a decline in oil temperature.
Pump‑free operation: The system can utilize the natural water pressure of the municipal supply. With its low heat‑exchanger resistance, even standard city water supplies typically provide pressures exceeding 2 kg/cm²—sufficient to meet the unit’s pressure requirements. Consequently, a circulation pump is unnecessary, enabling hot‑water production while reducing electricity costs. If the available water pressure is insufficient, a low‑power booster pump can be installed as needed.
